The High Tension Wires qualify as a genuine TX punk rock supergroup with Mike Wiebe (RIVERBOAT GAMBLERS, CHOP SAKIS) on vocals, Mark Ryan (MARKED MEN, RIVERBOAT GAMBLERS, REDS) on guitar, Chris Pulliam (REDS) on bass, and Jeff Burke (MARKED MEN, REDS, CHOP SAKIS) on drums. Yes, it’s an incestous scene they’ve got going on in Texas.

Blistering punk and ragged lo-fi pop bashed out at maximum velocity from start to finish. (10 songs in 19 minutes, if that tells you anything). Falls somewhere between the members’ main bands, and the great 90’s garage/punk and pop sounds of bands like Scared Of Chaka, Motards, New Bomb Turks, etc etc.
