Steve<\/span>\u00a0Adamyk<\/span>\u00a0Band<\/span>\u00a0remains Canada\u2019s premiere power-pop\/punk crossover\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\ngroup. Throughout the last decade, the\u00a0band<\/span>\u00a0has toured Japan, Europe\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\n(four times) and all across North American, unleashing five albums and\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\na long list of seven inch singles. But it hasn\u2019t been easy. Most\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nbands<\/span>, by this stage, would likely have called it quits, yet\u00a0Steve<\/span>\u00a0has\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\npersevered. When their most-consistent lineup to date unraveled in\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\n2016, it would have been natural to end it where it stood, but the\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nwheels kept turning (and touring) regardless.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fast-forward to 2019 and the\u00a0band<\/span>\u00a0has been reborn. SAB is now\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nsolidified as a three-piece live (with Pat Johnson of The Acorn on\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nDrums and Johnny O of Uranium Comeback on bass) and are somehow\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\ntighter, more focused than ever, as a recent European tour proved last\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nsummer. On record, the threesome have also retained original member\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nDave Williams on vocals to give the songs the same vibe everyone has\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\ngrown to love. Paradise – the album itself – is nothing short of a\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nmonster. Suitably with a new lineup, the\u00a0band<\/span>\u00a0has also beefed-up their\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nsound. With their original feel in mind, there is nothing lo-fi about\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nthis record.<\/em><\/p>\n

Recorded by Mike Bond at Wolf Lake (Crusades) and mixed by Jesse\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nGander (White Lung, Japandroids) in Vancouver, Paradise is a sonically\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
\nhuge offering, with just the right amount of scuzz and crud where\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>
