Throughout the last decade, the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">band<\/span>\u00a0has toured Japan, Europe\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>(four times) and all across North American, unleashing five albums and\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>a long list of seven inch singles. But it hasn\u2019t been easy. Most\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em><span class=\"il\">bands<\/span>, by this stage, would likely have called it quits, yet\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Steve<\/span>\u00a0has\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>persevered. When their most-consistent lineup to date unraveled in\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>2016, it would have been natural to end it where it stood, but the\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>wheels kept turning (and touring) regardless.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Fast-forward to 2019 and the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">band<\/span>\u00a0has been reborn. SAB is now\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>solidified as a three-piece live (with Pat Johnson of The Acorn on\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Drums and Johnny O of Uranium Comeback on bass) and are somehow\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>tighter, more focused than ever, as a recent European tour proved last\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>summer. On record, the threesome have also retained original member\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Dave Williams on vocals to give the songs the same vibe everyone has\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>grown to love. Paradise &#8211; the album itself &#8211; is nothing short of a\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>monster. Suitably with a new lineup, the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">band<\/span>\u00a0has also beefed-up their\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>sound. With their original feel in mind, there is nothing lo-fi about\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>this record.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Recorded by Mike Bond at Wolf Lake (Crusades) and mixed by Jesse\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Gander (White Lung, Japandroids) in Vancouver, Paradise is a sonically\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>huge offering, with just the right amount of scuzz and crud where\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>needed. 12 new rippers, including an incredible cover of \u201cTelephone\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em>by The Incredible Kidda\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Band<\/span>.\u00a0 Keep an eye out for the\u00a0<span class=\"il\">band<\/span>\u00a0in 2019 &#8211;\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><br \/>\n<em><span class=\"il\">Steve<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Adamyk<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"il\">Band<\/span>\u00a0is back and won\u2019t be forgotten anytime soon.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>First 200 come on YELLOW vinyl, exclusive to mailorder.
