UK\/Europe: Please order from our friends at Wild Honey Records<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cJeff Burke<\/strong> and Radioactivity <\/strong>are back!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recorded over a long period of time and released ten full years (!) after their last LP (Silent Kill, 2015), here is the eagerly awaited 3rd<\/sup> LP!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Nobody was really worried about Radioactivity <\/strong>dropping the ball after all this time. Jeff Burke\u2019s track record (The Marked Men, The Reds, The Potential Johns, Lost Balloons, etc etc) speaks for itself, and has for over 25 years at this point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s no exaggeration at all to say that Burke\u2019s songwriting voice is one of the most distinctive, unique, and dare we say best of the 21st<\/sup> century so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Still, Time Don\u2019t Bring Me Down <\/em>doesn\u2019t just hold its own\u2014it rips. With Mark Ryan (Marked Men, Mind Spiders, O-D-EX) and Daniel Fried + Gregory Rutherford (Bad Sports) in the lineup, these guys burn through eleven tracks in half an hour and leave nothing standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The first two LPs sounded like what you would expect from a Burke project\u2014tight, fast, and pure Denton adrenaline. Time Won\u2019t Bring Me Down<\/em> still has that DNA, but this isn\u2019t just nostalgia. Radioactivity<\/strong>\u2019s got their own thing now: Burke\u2019s hooks still bite, but there\u2019s more space, more mood, and the band\u2019s locked-in chemistry means every hit lands harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n You get straight-up burners like \u201cTime Won\u2019t Bring Me Down<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cWhy\u201d<\/strong> that\u2019ll knock your coffee out of your hand, but also heart-twisters like \u201cAnalog Ways\u201d<\/strong> (one of our personal favorites, and probably the least Radioactivity-like song they\u2019ve ever recorded) \u201cIgnorance Is Bliss\u201d<\/strong>, and \u201cShell\u201d<\/strong> that slow the pace down considerably, and represent real progress and evolution in style and songwriting.
